Scope and Contents
Images are of houses, groups of men (either in formal dress or in costumes), all black and white images.
There are a number of notes left by the librarian who took in the material:
-"Shredded Wheat Owned 1909-1933 as University Club, Porter House, moved to 315 Buffalo (Ave.) until 1962 then 335 Buffalo Ave. - Whitney."
-"Mandeville's got piano and took to New York City, Whitney."
-"When University Club closed 1975, Mrs. Robinson, wife of the president of Carborundum gave things to the Historical Society. Picture of NF (?) with Whitney Children Portrait."
-"Peter Porter House entrance."(was probably a book mark but fell out).
-"Jerauld House."(bookmarking a page)
-"Mc Donald House" (bookmark)
-"Interior of Porter House".
