Scope and Contents
Images depicted include factory interiors and exteriors, machinery, equipment, the "Emergency Hospital," men playing baseball, a portrait of a man sitting with glasses, and the Electro Lamp Co. Bicycle and Table Lamps Building.
Paper documents from the Union Carbide Glass Plates Envelope are also included in the box. These documents include a typed list of workers in different departments, two envelopes with "Mrs. M. Manker, #94 Building," typed on it and "Jim Sargenson (?)" written on them, a third envelope with Mrs. Manker typed on it and "Electro Lamp Co. Bicycle & Table Lamp" written on the back that UC-9.25 was housed in, a sleeve that states "Union Carbide Photos, 1 glass plate, Mr. Bowden" which held a broken (UC-15.1) glass plate negative, another sleeve with UC-9.25 that states "425,Charles Shrubsall, Union Carbide Photos - glass plate, Charles Shrubsall," a printed copy of a handwritten ledger full of 70 names, and a paper with "From the desk of: M. H. Phillips Library paperclipped to a photo copy of a "Going Away Party for Sporane (?) People, Prospect House Dfc. '42(?)"(the names and numbers on the ledger may correspond to the numbers labeled below the photo distinguishing who is in the photo).
