1 box of materials collected by the Haynes & Houghs families throughout the years. Includes photographs from late 1800s, a vinyl wrapped packet of old Niagara Falls Gazette newspapers, and various books & pamphlets about Niagara Falls.

Biographical / Historical
The Haynes/Hough Family:
Dr. Walter Dennis Hough was a physician. He and his wife, Ella Haynes Hough lived at 635 Main St, near what is now the Main Post Office. The house was later remodeled to become the Bell Funeral Home and most recently it is known as the Williamson Funeral Home (as of 2015).
Edward Haynes (Ella's father) was the owner of Haynes Coal Company along with Harriet Haynes (Ella's spinster sister). Harriet took over running the company after Edward retired.
Florence Genevieve Hough was born in 1884 (Julie's grandmother). Florence married Clarence Archer Tryon in 1905. They lived in LaSalle and they had 3 children.
