DuPont in Niagara Falls
In 1896, The Niagara Electrochemical Company was established. The successor to the Niagara Electrochemical Co. was Roessler and Hasslacher Chemical Company. In 1930, R and H was bought by E. I. du Pont and Nemours Co.

In 1987, Olin Chlor Alkali formed a joint venture with DuPont, Niachlor. IN 1997, DuPont's portion was purchased by Olin.
DuPont still has a plant in Niagara Falls, NY on 2551 Buffalo Ave. (2014).
