Loose newspaper article discussing the dissolution of a partnership to build the Hydraulic Canal.
A notice of dissolution: "The co-partnership heretofore existing between the undersigned in the contract for building and completing the Hydraulic Canal in the Village of Niagara Falls under the name and firm of Gage, Latham and Hawes, is this day dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due by, and to, the late firm of Gage, Latham & Hawes will be settled by Latham and Gage, who are duly authorised to settle all outstanding and unsettled matters. F. Gage, E. S. Latham D. H . Hawes.
